Here's some exciting news, today I received word from the IRS that our application for exemption was approved and RST qualifies as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization! What this means is that contributions to RST are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. But that's not all....we received an effective date of exemption of February 6, 1996...in other words, contributions that anyone made since way back to the date RST was formed are acknowledged as tax deductible. For example, those of us who donated to the D-Star system last year may be eligible to claim a deduction for the donation. 73,
